Sibert

Rex E. and Helen D. Sibert of Oak Grove will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 9.

Their six daughters, Robin Hancox (Mark), Renee’ Richards (Donnie), Rhonda Sibert (Bill Gardner), Rosalind Phillips, Rachel Hummel (John), and Rexanne Hill (Geoff Hill), 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson, will be hosting the anniversary celebration in their honor.

They were married Aug. 9, 1958, in Beaumont, Texas, and they lived in Independence for 30 years, moving to Oak Grove 11 years ago.

Rex retired from the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, and Helen retired from the Jackson County Health Department. They are members of St. Jude Catholic Church in Oak Grove.
