Missouri will open the home portion of the schedule on Saturday, Nov. 2, against the Denver Cutthroats at the Independence Events Center. The 2013-14 schedule includes 66 games – 33 at the Events Center and 33 road contests. The Mavericks' home schedule features 28 weekend games (11 Fridays, 14 Saturdays, three Sundays), with all non-Sunday games beginning at 7:05 p.m.
“I know how excited our fans have been about the 2013-2014 schedule,” Mavericks president Brent Thiessen said earlier this week. “We believe they will enjoy all our weekend games and special promotions.”
The Mavericks will continue many of their promotions for the 2013-14 season, including Price Chopper Two-for-Tuesdays, Freedom Fridays and Family 4-Packs. The Mavericks will also have many giveaways this year, including adult and youth jerseys, cowbells, bobbleheads and more.
The full promotional schedule will be released in the near future. Go to www.MissouriMavericks.com for more information regarding specific game events and promotions.
Individual tickets for all 33 regular season home games will go on sale on sale at 11 a.m. Sept. 21 at Fan Fest at the Events Center. All individual tickets are available through Ticketmaster. Season tickets are on sale now and Mavericks mini-plans will go on sale Sept. 4 through the Mavericks front office by calling 816-252-7825.
The Mavericks will face off against the Quad City Mallards and Wichita Thunder more than any other team this season, a total of 10 times each. The Tulsa Oilers are the next most common opponent as the Mavs will face them nine times. Every team in the CHL will visit Independence Events Center and Missouri will travel to every city in the league as well.
