OZARK, Mo. — The Truman softball team has qualified for the eight-team championship bracket of the Ozark Tournament.

Paige Parker pitched a three-inning no-hitter and struck out seven in an 11-0 victory over Lebanon Friday. Madison Vanderlinden followed with a five-inning two-hitter and three strikeouts in a 9-0 victory over Carthage.

Shay Tolbert doubled twice and singled with three RBIs, Sara Jeffress singled three times with three RBIs and Tori Zorich singled and doubled with two RBIs to power the Lebanon victory.

Parker has struck out 83 in 43 innings and allowed only seven runs.

Zorich hit a solo homer and drove in two, Maya Coen doubled and had three RBIs and Jeffress and Parker each added two hits in the win over Carthage.

Truman plays three games Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
