The Fort Osage boys soccer team continued to play well.

Richmond Forbis scored three goals, Pier Cassaraghi added two and Trey Hunt one to lead the host Indians to a 6-1 Suburban Middle Seven victory over Oak Park Thursday night.

The Indians (8-2) have won seven in a row, including three in the conference. Fort Osage sealed the victory with three first-half goals.

Forbis has 93 career goals, including 17 this season.

“It was another solid performance,” Fort Osage coach Andrew Fletcher said. “We struggled some in the first half, but in the second half we played much, much better.”

HARRISONVILLE 2, BLUE SPRINGS SOUTH 0: The opening game in the Smithville Tournament didn’t go well for the Jaguars (5-3-1).

“Harrisonville had a quick-tempo team and ran a lot of skilled players through the middle of our defense,” South coach Jon Grice said. “They are well-coached and played harder than we did. Our kids need to learn from this game.”

RAYTOWN 4, WILLIAM CHRISMAN 0: Raytown bolted to a 3-0 halftime lead and went on to a Suburban Middle Seven home victory over the Bears (2-4, 0-2 conference).

GRAIN VALLEY 4, HOLDEN 1: Visiting Grain Valley scored two goals in each half to post a Missouri River Valley Conference victory at Holden and extend its winning streak to seven games.

Michael Pellham scored two goals, and Antonio Zamora and Adam Chaiprathum had one each. Two goals within the opening 15 minutes of the second half assured the Eagles of moving to 8-1 and 3-0.
