The William Chrisman boys and girls cross country teams made it a clean sweep at the E.A. Marley Invitational Monday at Swope Park.

The girls swept the top five individual finishes to take the team title, and the boys had all five finish in the top eight to claim the team win.

Angie Littlefield led the girls win, taking first in 11 minutes, 55 seconds over the 1.5-mile course. She was followed by Mana Kanizumi (13:01), Hannah Boatman (13:04), Alliyah Mayweather (13:09) and Abby Ramirez (13:10).

Anthony Wheeler took first in 9:35 and Caleb Mitchell was second in 9:42 to lead the boys team. Completing the scoring were McCain Brown (5th, 10:16), Tanner Haynes (6th, 10:18) and Uly Steiner (8th, 10:29).

Johnny Young took first in 10:20 in the junior varsity boys race as the JV boys team won the team title.

On Saturday at the Bob Craddock Invitational at Swope Park, the Chrisman girls, despite missing two regular varsity members, claimed second place as Elizabeth Straub captured the individual title by nearly 10 seconds.

All Chrisman girls runners medaled with a top-25 finish, including Ramirez (16th), Kanizumi (17th), Mayweather (18th), MJ Hurt (20th), Jenna Budd (21st), Kelsey Newland (22nd) and Erica Merino (23rd).

A shorthanded boys team finished third behind Rockhurst and Liberty Saturday. Every Chrisman runner medaled for finishing in the top 100.

Wheeler again led the way, taking 21st, while Mitchell was 33rd. Brown (66th), Haynes (73rd), Dakota Cary (74th), Johnny Young (81st), Kishon HoChee (82nd) and Jake Becker (83rd) also earned medals.
