    To the editor:
    Regarding the Zimmerman case: I see this as a liability case that went sour. The individual who should have had the greater knowledge didn’t seem to have had the management experience for his actions and progressed himself into a self-protection situation and then killed the other party, in his own ineptness to boot.
    Since Zimmerman had been told to stand down from the situation by law enforcement, he should have obeyed the order. Since the young man didn’t knife him, but was shaking him, Zimmerman could have said, “I gummer” or “give up” and the boy would have stopped shaking him. Also, Zimmerman was ordered to cease and desist, and didn’t. Therefore, all actions flow directly to himself.
