The Blacklist will return in 2014 with a three-week run of new episodes, NBC announced Monday.

The hit drama, starring James Spader, will go on hiatus after Monday night and then will air original episodes beginning Monday, Jan. 13 at 10/9c. On Feb. 3, a two-hour special marking the 50th Anniversary of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition will air at 9/8c and the following week will feature prime-time coverage of the Winter Olympics.

Instead of The Voice - which names its Season 5 winner on Dec. 17 - The Blacklist will follow a special U.S. vs. Japan edition of America Ninja Warrior on Jan. 13. The next week kicks off a special run of the summer hit Hollywood Game Night, airing at 8/7c.
