  • Terriers are energetic, loving pets

  • Terriers are busy little dogs. Their ancestors were bred to hunt vermin. They are usually busy sniffing out a mole or treeing a squirrel, but they are much more than that. Terriers are warm, loving dogs that love spending time with their humans. They want to participate in family activities and can be very athletic if given the chance. I had a rat terrier when I was a little girl and he was my best buddy. Animals Best Friends has some great terriers that are looking for their forever homes.
Peanut is a very cute, 1-year-old rat terrier mix. He enjoys his people time and will sit in the lap of an ABF caregiver for some love. He also loves his squeaky toys and enjoys his play time with the other ABF dogs. Peanut is full of energy and will bring a ray of sunshine to whomever adopts him.
Jake is a handsome, 5-year-old Jack Russell terrier. He loves playing with toys and romping with his ABF brothers and sisters. Jake knows “sit” and “shake” and is very smart and willing to learn. He loves going for walks with the ABF dog walkers. Jake would be a great companion for someone who is active and enjoys walks. He has a sweet disposition and will make a good addition to a loving family.
Gia is a beautiful, 9-year-old terrier mix. She is loving and has a good disposition. She is playful and will grab a toy when she sees the ABF caregivers coming. She came to ABF because her owner passed away. Gia enjoys playing with her ABF brothers and sisters and would make a wonderful addition to a loving family.
