The Fort Osage wrestling team took advantage of five forfeits for a dual win Tuesday.
But the Indians also outscored Lee’s Summit North 21-12 in the matches that were contested in a 51-12 home victory.
Bryce Braughton (138 pounds) and Kyle Dickmeyer (132) both recorded pins to cap the win. Sam Ramsey (106) won a 16-0 technical fall and Carter Behler (145) started the match with a 10-1 major decision to help lift the Indians.
Dakota Collins (170) pinned his opponent and Lucas Homer (152) and Alex Glynn (160) won decisions for North’s victories.
Fort Osage also won the junior varsity match 39-30.
ST. JOSEPH CENTRAL 72, TRUMAN 12: Truman managed only two wins in a Suburban Middle Six road loss to the Central Indians Tuesday.
But both of those wins came by pin. Kurt Kaiser (132) stuck Central’s Jonathan Stickler in 1 minute, 5 seconds, while Jacob Overbay (145) recorded a third-period pin for the Patriots.
