The Truman girls swimming and diving team managed one event win and a pair of second-place finishes while splitting a five-team meet Wednesday.

Truman fell 118-65 to host Belton and 141-43 to Winnetonka but downed William Chrisman 110-44 and Van Horn 136-4 in the meet at High Blue Community Center in Belton.

Chrisman also fell 130-37 to Belton and 146-25 to Winnetonka and beat Van Horn 68-4.

Corissa Hawley claimed Trumanís lone event win, taking first in diving with a score of 121.8 to edge teammate Audrey Powell.

Trumanís Allison Timko claimed second in the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 27.92 seconds and took third in the 500 freestyle (6:40.64). Jordan Esry was fourth in the 100 breaststroke and fifth in the 200 free for the Patriots.

Lexi Parsons led the way for Chrisman, taking second in the 100 freestyle (1:04.39) and third in the 50 free (28.36). Elizabeth Straub was fourth in the 50 and fifth in the 100 free.

Daniela Valenciaís 29th-place finish in the 100 freestyle led Van Horn.
