The weather might be frightful outside but inside 4-H is gearing up for a several nice warm activities. Applications are due January 22 for State Teen Conference held on March 22-23 for those age 11-13. It is a great time for members to meet new friends while in Columbia and exploring the MU campus and getting to stay in a motel. Besides workshops run by State 4-H Council members the participants will get to enjoy a dance and other fun activities.
For those (age 14-18) wanting to explore career options based in the Kansas City area we have Global Careers Conference. This year they are trying something a little different in that the cost of $25 will get you in to a day of the conference (March 13-14) but you don’t have to stay overnight – unless you want to – then that is additional cost.
