  • ST. JOSEPH – Six pins highlighted William Chrisman’s 51-21 dual win Thursday at St. Joseph Central.
    Adam Olsen (106 pounds), Tyler Hamm (113), Brandon Butler (138), Josh Wallace (182), Zack Soule (195) and Hunter Soule (220) each won by fall, with Butler and Wallace getting their pins late in the first period and Hunter Soule in just 45 seconds.
    Larry Danforth (120), Derek Williams (132) and Tomasi Tuione (285) added wins by decision for the Bears, who improved to 8-2 in duals. Chrisman and St. Joseph Central split on two forfeits.
    OAK GROVE 48, PLEASANT HILL 25: Oak Grove won eight of 11 bouts to claim a Missouri River Valley Conference dual on the road.
    Shawn Kavadas (126 pounds), Landon Cairer (152), Dalton Brinegar (170), Preston Airington (195) and Brock Mercer (120) all won by pin for the Panthers, which Mercer’s coming in just 40 seconds. Tyler Brown (132) won by a 3-0 decision, Bryce Mercer (145) by a 9-1 major decision and Jet Tryon (113) by an 18-2 technical fall in just one period.
    Oak Grove gained one forfeit and gave up two.
    LEE’S SUMMIT WEST 42, FORT OSAGE 12: Jesse Jeffries and Joshua Barnes had Fort Osage’s only competitive wins, as the Indians gained a forfeit but gave up two.
    Jeffries edged West’s Jake Woods 5-4 at 138 pounds, while Barnes managed a 10-6 win over Pedro Murcia at 160.
    Fort Osage’s junior varsity was a 36-21 winner.
    FORT OSAGE 36, WINNETONKA 27: Five of the Indians’ seven wins came via pin as they toppled the Griffins.
    Collen Divers (120), Jesse Jeffries (138), Tyler Selemaea (152), Joshua Barnes (160) and Gunnar Hahne (106) got pins for Fort Osage, which yielded two forfeits. Jesse Reser and Jeremiah Reynolds (113) managed close wins of 2-1 and 4-2, respectively.
