    To the editor:
U.S. administrators are hypocrites. They say Syria has only destroyed 5 percent of its chemical weapons supply in the last two months. They also state the Syrian government is committed to destroy all 1,000 tons of its chemical weapons stockpile before this year is over.
The U.S. has 5,000 tons of chemical weapons stockpiled and has stated to the world that U.S. would destroy these chemicals starting in 1990. To date the U.S. has done nothing.
The United States is telling the world “Do as I say not as I do”, or as some people say, “the pot is calling the kettle black.” The U.S. word is worth but little. If the U.S. is to be moral, it must act morally and do what it says.
