Blue Springs is having a 5k/10k walk and run this Saturday, March 8.
Bodies Personal Training in Lee’s Summit is hosting the Leprechaun Lane 5k/10k event. The race begins at 8 a.m. in front of Blue Springs City Hall at 903 W. Main St. It is open to all ages, whether individuals, couples and families.
“Spring is on its way. This race is an opportunity to get your family outside and exercising,” said Bodies owner Brad McCleary.
Registration for the race is $35 per person. Participants can register online at www.bodiesracecompany.com or in person at Bodies Personal Training Studio, at 1100 SE Century Drive in Lee’s Summit. Race-day registration is from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the race location.
All participants will receive a T-shirt, a finisher’s medal and a free photo to commemorate the day. Top finishers in each age group will also receive custom medals.
