  • Hi, my name is Oscar and I'm here to tell you about the upcoming Animals Best Friends garage sale on March 29. This is a big fundraiser for Animals Best Friends and it benefits homeless kids like me.
I'm a sweet, male beagle mix. I'm 5 years young and would love to have a family of my own, preferably a family with children that I can run and play with. Being a beagle who loves to sniff out a good trail, I really need a home with a fenced yard to keep me safe. If you're looking for a great family dog, I'm your boy!
The ABF garage sale is held twice each year. The spring sale is scheduled for March 29. The intake day is March 27 at the National Guard Armory building at 2323 S Crysler, Independence. Volunteers will be accepting items for the garage sale from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. No clothing please.
The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 29 at Armory building.
This huge garage sale usually has a large variety and number of items. Please donate what you can and come to the sale to find your newest treasure. All proceeds benefit homeless animals like me.
If you're looking for a great dog to join your family and think I might be a good fit, please go to our website at www.animalsbestfriends.org and complete an application. ABF does home visits and two week trials to be sure the family and animal are well-matched.
Animals Best Friends wish list includes: Purina One Puppy and Dog Chow, Purina Kitten and Cat and Chow, cow hooves or rawhides, canned dog and cat food, peanut butter, stuffed toys (no beads), HE laundry detergent, bleach, bleach spray cleaner, Fantastic spray cleaner, newspapers (without slick ads), paper towels, scoopable cat litter. There is a paper recycling bin in the parking lot at ABF Headquarters, 2302 S. Crysler Ave., Independence. Please, no cardboard or telephone books. We appreciate your support.
