  • Mavs claim 13 top spots in CHL's Best of the Best

  • The results are in and the Missouri Mavericks have captured 13 first-place spots from the Central Hockey League’s 2013-14 Best of the Best poll. The Mavs have also been recognized with eight second-place and 12 third-place honors in the poll, which is voted on by players, coaches and team personnel from across the league.
    The Mavericks have claimed top spots for: Best Playmaker, Sebastien Thinel; Best Shooter in Shootouts, Thinel; Best Penalty Killer, John-Scott Dickson; Best Defensive Defenseman, Matt Stephenson; Best Fighter (Heavyweight), Colt King; Best Power Forward, Colt King; Most Gentlemanly Player, Mike Ramsay; Best Fans, Toughest Building to Win In, Best PA Announcer, Best Team Website, Best Mascot and Best On-Ice Promotions.
