Misha Miller-Gilmore of Independence, a senior in geological engineering representing Kappa Delta, was selected as a candidate for Queen of Love and Beauty for the 106th St. Pat’s celebration at Missouri University of Science and Technology.

The candidates were nominated by various student organizations at Missouri S&T. There were 32 queen candidates for 2014. A committee of students elected a queen after a series of interviews. Coronation ceremonies were held March 14 in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall on the Missouri S&T campus, in tandem with the knighting ceremony of Student Knights of St. Pat. Natalie Kost, a senior in architectural engineering from Florissant, Mo., was crowned queen.

The Queen of Love and Beauty, her court and the rest of the candidates all had places of honor on the queen's float during the 2014 St. Pat's Parade, held in downtown Rolla on March 15.
