Animals Best Friends has many wonderful animals looking for forever homes. Recently they took in three dogs after their owner died. These sweet dogs are good natured, gentle and loving.
Duke is the youngest; he is around 3 years old. He is a beautiful red Lab and is a big boy, but he is well behaved. He may need some training. Volunteers are still learning about this pretty boy. Nonetheless, he would make a great family dog.
Allie is older, maybe 7 to 10 years old. She is a golden retriever with a wonderfully sweet face. Allie is very special and would need a family of empty nesters or an adult who would love to have a snuggle buddy that they could take on short walks.
Harlee is a sweet 12-year-old black Lab with beautiful markings. The white hair on her face highlights her pretty brown eyes. She has a pretty white bib on her chest with black spots. Harlee was actually adopted from the Independence Animal Shelter when she was a puppy. ABF adopted Harlee out to her family while doing Adopt A Pet at PetSmart.
All three of these sweet dogs have been examined by our veterinarian at Three Trails Animal Hospital. They would be great forever dogs for the right family. Animals Best Friends could also foster them out to the right homes. ABF is always looking for good foster homes!
If you are interested in adopting or fostering one of these wonderful dogs please go to our website at www.animalsbestfriends.org and complete an application. The Foster Application is under the “How to Help” tab on our website.
