  • Deb Ohnoutka has been promoted to Vice President of Nursing for Carondelet Health and the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for both St. Joseph and St. Mary’s Medical Centers, the acute care hospitals of Carondelet Health.
Ohnoutka took the position of CNO at St. Joseph three years ago, after serving as CNO at St. Mary’s Medical Center. In her new position, Ohnoutka will oversee nursing initiatives at both hospitals.
“I have always believed it is an honor and a privilege to be a nurse,” says Ohnoutka. “Both hospitals already have amazing, inspiring nurses and I look forward to building a strong Carondelet Health team.”
She earned a master’s degree in health care administration from Central Michigan State University, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Midland Lutheran College and a registered nurse diploma from the Jennie Edmunson School of Nursing in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
