Independence Police report that a motorcyclist was a victim of a hit-and-run accident Saturday evening.
The incident happened at 7:08 p.m. near the intersection of 23rd Street and Hawthorne Avenue in Independence.
The current condition of the cyclist is unknown and the crash remains under investigation.
