Customs Eyes Owners, Drs. Linda and Scott Drake, along with their staff members, are hosting a Motorcycle and Car Show that will benefit Cade Cranford.
Those with classic cars and all types of motorcycles, along with the general public, are invited to come out and support this event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 9 in the parking lot of 3465 N.E. Ralph Powell Road, Lee's Summit. There will also be food and drink, music, raffles, door prizes, face painting and more.
Cade, who suffers from Retinoblastoma, eye cancer, has two large malignant tumors in both eyes. So far, Cade has had surgery in both eyes and is doing well, but he and his parents still have a number of trips back to New York to see his specialist.
There is no fee to enter your car or bike, but a free will donation would be appreciated, with all proceeds going directly to the family. Local businesses and friends have donated items for the silent auction items. If you would like to donate a gift card or check or have any questions, call Stephanie Atchity at 816-786-2412 or email email@example.com. You may also donate online at www.gofundme.com/crandfordfund.
