Cats make great pets. They're friendly and playful and when they want to be, loving. Unfortunately, cats are plentiful due to overbreeding and there are many homeless cats that need homes. Animals Best Friends has several adult cats that would make wonderful pets if given the chance.

Luna is a handsome boy with a girl's name. He is a domestic long hair who is two years young. He has a laid back personality and enjoys the company of other cats; ABF caregivers aren't certain how he would do with dogs. Luna might be better off with a laid back family that can give him lots of attention.

Terry is a handsome tuxedo cat who is nine years young. He is a playful, curious boy who enjoys attention and feather toys. Terry will let you know when he wants to play or needs attention. He gets along well with other cats, but would love to be the only cat in the house.

Ashes is a 9-year-old domestic short hair. He is a handsome boy who enjoys the company of dogs and other cats. Ashes is very loving and gives his caregivers head-butts. He is a very special boy looking for a special family.

If you are looking for a great cat to join your family and think one of these boys might be a good fit, please go to our website at and complete an application. ABF is always looking for good foster homes for our animals as well. There is a foster application under the “How to Help” tab at
