We’re here for you – the community of Blue Springs. The Chamber exists to promote local business and to enhance the economic environment in Blue Springs. But, we can’t do it alone. Together with our members, we provide support to events such as Street Flicks, Cruisin’ Down Main Street, Halloween “Boo Fest,” The Holiday Express Santa Train and concerts in the park. Our biggest event, the Blue Springs Fall Fun Festival, is organized each year by the festival committee, and volunteers come from all segments of the community. Held the second weekend after Labor Day each September, the festival is in its 38th year.
The chamber provides support to the business community through networking opportunities, advertising and sponsorship opportunities and legislative breakfasts which facilitate communication with our state legislators. Our Leadership Blue Springs program fosters and develops new leaders for tomorrow through a series of sessions concerning topics such as government, history, education and quality of life. As participants graduate from the program, they are encouraged to use the information to become stronger leaders, and more active community citizens.
As Blue Springs continues to grow, welcoming and encouraging new business expansion is crucial. The chamber supports business growth through our strong relationship and support of the Blue Springs Economic Development Corporation and active participation and awareness of new and proposed retail and residential development within the community.
The chamber is located in the heart of downtown Blue Springs, at the corner of Main and 10th Streets. Stop by and visit, or give us a call at 816- 229-8558.
