1. How long have you been involved with Blue Springs Fall Fun Fest volunteer efforts?
I began serving on the volunteer committee in Fall 2007.
2. What areas are you experiencing the most shortage regarding volunteers?
We really need volunteer support to tear down and clean up on September 19th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
3. How many volunteers are needed to make the event successful?
It takes over 200 volunteers to set up, maintain and clean up this annual event. Volunteers are truly the key to our success!
4. How many hours do volunteers typically work?
Volunteers work over 50 hours between Thursday and Sunday.
5. Is there a high return rate for volunteers each year?
Yes, over 50 percent of our volunteers return and work a minimum of one shift during festival weekend.
