Attorney wins honor

Julie Levin, a managing attorney for Legal Aid of Western Missouri, has been awarded the 2008 Dorsey award from the American Bar Association’s Government and Public Sector Lawyers Division.

She received the award Aug. 8 in New York City. The award was designed to recognize public defenders or legal aid lawyers for exceptional work.
