The Independence Shepherds Center invites you to share in the travelog, “Living in the Renaissance,” Friday at Christ United Methodist Church, 14500 E. 39th St., Independence.
Registration and free blood pressure checks begin at 8:30 a.m. and the travelog begins at 9 a.m. A book review of “The Red Orchestra (a World War II story), a wellness faire on vertigo and a genealogy discussion on roots by Jan Schulte, head librarian, are some of the classes which begin at 10 and 11 a.m. Lunch is served at noon.
