Local Children’s Orchard giving mom a night out

Children’s Orchard locations in Independence and Blue Springs will participate in National Mom’s Nite Out from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, an event aimed at the celebration of motherhood.

Mothers will be treated to entertainment, refreshments and offers from massage therapists, makeup artists, jewelry outlets, restaurants and others. Children’s Orchard is at 4201 S. Noland Road in Independence and at 1722 S.W. Missouri 7 in Blue Springs.
