The Missouri Comets had two players named to the Major Indoor Soccer League Team of the Week and two more named honorable mention.

Forward Byron Alvarez, who had his second straight four-goal game in Sunday’s 24-11 win over the Wichita Wings, and defender Brian Harris, who had two goals Sunday, were named to the Team of the Week. Alvarez has at least one point in every game except one this season and is just two points behind MISL leader Doug Miller of Rochester.

John Sosa, who had two goals, and Stefan St. Louis, who had one goal, were named to the honorable mention squad.

The Comets return to action 7:35 p.m. Thursday with a home game against the defending MISL champion Milwaukee Wave at the Independence Events Center.
