The Independence Animal Shelter is reducing its adoption fees all week.
Cat adoption prices will be reduced by $20 and dog prices will be reduced by $30. Those interested in adopting are encouraged to visit www.facebook.com/paws2adopt or stop by the shelter at 875 S. Vista Ave. for more information.
On Monday, the shelter participated in “Just One Day,” an effort across the United States and Canada to encourage animal shelters to pledge to not euthanize any savable animals for one day. Visit www.justoneday.ws/ for more information.
