The Cincinnati News Record reported that on December 4, 2012, a construction accident caused a blackout in the Uptown neighborhood. Duke Energy crews resolved the issue. The accident was caused by a worker operating a fork lift who knocked down a power line. Fortunately, Cincinnati electricians were able to make the repair quickly, and traffic on Calhoun Street, which was closed due to the accident, was able to move again.
