The construction of the Schuylkill River Park's dog run caused controversy in Philadelphia, but did offer the advantage of employing Philadelphia fencing contractors to install its 5 foot high fence. Residents objected to it because its placement blocked walkways, but it still seems to be getting plenty of use by downtown Philly dog owners.
