All genealogists know about the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah and about their wonderful website. But did you know that you can order microfilm online and have it sent here to the Midwest Genealogy Center? Start by searching the catalog on www.familysearch.org to see what is available. Below find a summary of the charges and instructions for ordering:
Microfilm may be ordered online at: www.familysearch.org. You will first need to set up a free Family Search account. You must also have a personal email account and credit card to place an order. While placing your order, select Mid-Continent Public Library as your affiliate library, and the film will be delivered to the Midwest Genealogy Center for you to view. Familysearch.org will automatically send you an email when your order has shipped and when it has been received here at the Midwest Genealogy Center.
