Some enterprising folks are cashing in on David Cook's sudden fame. The Internet auction site eBay lists Cook-related items ranging from magnets and posters to tickets for Friday's appearance at Blue Springs South High School.
An out-of-print copy of his "Analog Heart" CD has been bid up to $358, as of mid-afternoon Wednesday. A copy of his CD with his old band Axium, "The StoryThus Far," is currently bid at $129.95.
One person who picked up free tickets to Cook's homecoming appearance at Larry Stewart Stadium at Blue Springs South High School is offering them on eBay and has been offered $26.01.
Another popular selling site, Craigslist, offers several David Cook tickets – some of them going as high as $200 for four tickets. A quick search of Craigslist shows 14 separate entries for Cook tickets.
