Moreland Ridge students compete in Kentucky

In June, students from Moreland Ridge Middle School,  in the Blue Springs School District, competed at the Middle School National Forensics competitive drama/speech tournament. The tournament was held at Western Kentucky University. Team member Ryan McCrary placed fourth in the nation in prose speaking. Also competing at the tournament were (from left to right in the team photo) Katie Halphin, Kylie Musgrove, Joanie Parmerlee, Christy Stewart, Emily Royer, Ryan McCrary, Eli Nigh, Ray Jordan, Tom Leith. Coaches for the team are Tom Leith, Silvia Small and Linda Muir.
