Cinderella is coming to the Center Place Restoration School stage this weekend.
The school is presenting “Cinderella – The Enchanted Edition," beginning at 12:30 p.m. today. There are additional performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
All performances at the school, 816 W. Waldo Ave. in Independence. Admission is $7. Concessions will also be available for all performances, including tiaras for the little girls.
The Enchanted Edition is still the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein, but is the updated version produced for Disney. The 1997 made-for-television movie starred Whitney Houston as the Fairy Godmother and Brandy as Cinderella and was a re-make of the original television movie musical.
