1 To what do you attribute your academic success?

To my absolute love of knowledge. I really am just a huge nerd who loves to read neuroscience books, listen to policy debate and do calculus homework.

2 Who was your biggest influence on your studies?
More like what – a gripping perfection complex. Hi, my name is Shannon Cramm, and I’m afraid to fail.

3 What college do you plan to attend and why?
Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich. Not only do they have strong academics and social community, but they offered me a research position freshman year with a guaranteed stipend for two.

4 What do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?
I hope to have my MD/PhD and be in a neurosurgery internship. More generally, I hope to be doing my best to help the global community – as cutesy as that sounds, I truly do.

5 What will you remember most about your high school years?
Forensics, no doubt about it. The failures, the successes, the lessons learned, the coach, but most of all the wonderful family a bunch of theater and debate nerds can create.
