Kevin Chow, Independence, was a part of a team of Kansas State University architectural students to win second place in the 2008 Student Design Project Competition sponsored by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning engineers.
For the competition, students had to select a heating, ventilating and air-conditioning system for a community recreational center in a residential area of Nashville, Tenn. Chow is a 2008 graduate in architectural engineering.
