1 To what do you attribute your academic success?
My loving parents, my great teachers and myself.
2 Who was your biggest influence on your studies?
The biggest influence on my studies would probably have to be my parents. They always encouraged me to stay focused and work hard, and I think that helped me a lot.
3 What was your favorite activity in high school? Why?
Playing in the orchestra because of the fun I’ve had playing the violin, the friendships I’ve developed and my favorite teacher ever, Mr. Jamey Mitchell.
4 What college do you plan to attend and why?
Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., because I feel that their outstanding science programs will provide me with a strong background, which will really prepare me for grad school.
5 What do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?
In 10 years, I see myself working as a physician or a life science professional.
