SCHOOL: William Chrisman High School
HONORS: Top 1 percent; received Missouri House of Representatives recognition and the Presidential Award for Excellence; member of Spanish Honor Society and National Honor Society; McCoy Award recipient; selected as a Student of the Month by the Rotary Club of Independence.
ACTIVITIES: Member of the BearTrackers Dance Team, captain senior year; football manager for the 2010-11 school year; baseball manager for the 2011-12 school year; member of the Spanish Club; three-year participant in the Foreign Language Festival.

What advice do you have for next year’s freshmen?
Do your homework and always try to do your best.

Who was your favorite teacher and why?
Mr. Legg. He made class fun, but still challenged us.

When you were not in school or studying, what did you enjoy doing?
I like to support my friends in their extracurricular activities.

What college do you plan to attend and why?
Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. Our family has attended Graceland for several generations.

What do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?
Teaching and raising a family.
