Annette Canfield of Independence wishes to announce the engagement of her daughter, Brandy Leann Mitchell, to Christopher Brian Johnson, son of Christine Johnson of Independence, and Phillip Johnson of Raytown.
Miss Mitchell, a graduate of William Chrisman High School, is attending Metropolitan Community College.
Her fiancé, also a graduate of Chrisman, is a reuse technician for Davita Dialysis in Riverside.
A Nov. 8, 2008, wedding is planned at St. Matthew Apostle Church in Kansas City.
