- THE RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL OF KANSAS CITY hosts “Celebration of the Coronation of King Henry,” a fundraiser for Community of Christ Cornerstone Church, seating begins at 6:30 tonight and Saturday, at the church, 1316 S. Osage St., Independence. Performances by: Dr. Dumpe, Musical Blades, Boleyn Kumpana and other festival favorites. Actual coronation will be 5 p.m. Saturday only. Tickets are $22. - STOTHERFEST, today and Saturday, on the grounds of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 S.W. 150 Highway, Lee’s Summit. The event features musical entertainment by The Elders and Liverpool, as well as additional bands and acts.
