The Thirty-third Annual Art Show, presented by the Independence Art Association, was held June 27 and 28 at the Noland Road Baptist Church in Independence.
The judge for the show, Bob Morris, an accomplished artist and art instructor, was a general art and graphic design instructor at Van Horn High School for nine years and served as the art supervisor at Penn Valley Community College for 37 years.
The show featured the work of 25 local artists.

The Independence Art Association meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Community of Christ Stone Church, 1012 W. Lexington Ave. The annual membership fee is $20.
