Hello, my name is Joy and I was adopted by my Mom from Animals Best Friends in 2007. I’m here to remind you all about the ABF Spring Garage Sale that will be held March 18.

The sale is going to be at the Armory Building at 2323 S Crysler Ave., Independence. The doors will open at 9 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. ABF volunteers will be there to help with questions, purchases, and to take any donations that you would like to bring for the ABF kids.

The intake day is Thursday, March 16, at the Armory Building. Volunteers will be there from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. to accept your donated items for the sale.

We will take dishes, electronics, toys, books, holiday decorations, mirrors, lamps, wall art, tools, furniture, bric-a-brac, and many other items. We do ask that you please do not bring clothes or shoes to donate.

Proceeds of the sale goes to help homeless animals, help fund the ABF Outreach Program, and support the ABF facility and the kids that reside there.

We do appreciate your support and ask that if you are considering getting a pet, please adopt a homeless pet instead of going to a breeder or a pet store.

-- Animals Best Friends wish list includes: Purina One Puppy and Dog Chow, Purina Kitten and Cat and Chow, cow hooves or rawhides, canned dog and cat food, peanut butter, stuffed toys (no beads), HE laundry detergent, bleach, bleach spray cleaner, Fantastic spray cleaner, newspapers (without slick ads), paper towels, scoopable cat litter. ABF Headquarters is located at 2302 S. Crysler Ave., Independence. We appreciate your support.
