Academic All-Stars: Hannah Seidel

What advice do you have for next year’s freshmen?
Do your best, but have fun while you’re doing it. High school goes by really fast.

Who was your favorite teacher and why?
I loved Mr. (Evan) Manuel’s dedication to his students. He is very helpful and thorough.

When you were not in school or studying, what did you enjoy doing?
I love reading and hanging out with my friends. We even had a movie marathon watching all of the movies leading up to “The Avengers.”

What college do you plan to attend and why?
Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. They have really strong academics and a great study abroad program.

What do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?
I’ll probably be working in a clinic as a speech pathologist, helping kids become better communicators.
