SCHOOL: Lee’s Summit North High School
HONORS: Salutatorian; Bright Flight Scholar; top 1 percent of senior class; named Calculus Student of the Year; member of National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society; International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate.
ACTIVITIES: State qualifier for the swim team; participated in Youth in Government.

What advice do you have for next year’s freshmen?
Don’t be afraid to work hard and surround yourself with people who lift you up.

Who was your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher was Ms. (Tricia) Lillygren because she teaches calculus in a way that made it understandable and sets up her students for success in college.

When you were not in school or studying, what did you enjoy doing?
I enjoyed spending time with my family and friends and watching sports.

What college do you plan to attend and why?
I plan to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia because of the campus atmosphere, the town and programs offered at the school.

What do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?
I see myself working in the medical field and being involved in charity medical work.
