Hi, my name is Gypsy and I want to invite you to the third annual Dazzling Dogs and Dinner this Saturday at the Independence National Guard Armory, 2323 S. Crysler Ave., Independence. This is a great fundraiser for Animals Best Friends and it’s so much fun!
I’m an ABF kid and I’m looking for a great forever home. I’m three years young, short and stocky, and sweet as can be! I was abandoned and ABF felt sorry for me so I’m living at their facility until I find a family of my own.
The cool thing about the Dazzling Dogs and Dinner is that we ABF kids get to meet the diners. People come for the dinner, but they get to see a fashion show starring the ABF kids. Participants will be treated to a taco dinner with dessert for $10 each. There will also be several raffles during the evening.
I will be there along with several other ABF kids to dazzle and delight the diners. Please come and enjoy the good food and the entertainment. You know, whenever you get a bunch of kids like us together you never really know what might happen. I hope to see you there!
Animals Best Friends wish list includes: Purina Dog, Puppy, Cat and Kitten Chow, dog and cat treats and chews, cow hooves or rawhides, canned dog and cat food, stuffed (no beads) and Kong toys, laundry detergent, bleach, Fantastic spray, Dawn dish liquid, paper towels, newspapers, 39 gallon trash bags, blankets, sheets, cat litter. There is a paper recycling bin in the parking lot at ABF Headquarters, 2302 S. Crysler Ave., Independence. Please, no cardboard or telephone books. We appreciate your support.
