Independence police are seeking a suspect in the theft of a credit/debit card.
Police are seeking the man in the accompanying photo as a suspect in the case. On Feb. 5, a woman had her credit/debit card stolen while she was at the 7-Eleven convenience store at Missouri 291 and Gudgell Road in Independence.
The suspect has since taken the card to the Walmart at 4000 Bolger Road in Independence and used it to purchase items several times.
The suspect appears to be a black male in his early 20s with a medium build. He was seen driving a light-colored, ’90s model Chevrolet Suburban or large GMC SUV.
