COUNTRY CLUB OF BLUE SPRINGS, 1600 N. Circle Drive, May 2 – Raw eggs and raw ground beef stored above soda bottles and candy bars in 19th hole refrigerator - Corrected.
FAZOLI’S, 810 U.S. 40, May 1 – Two door reach-in cooler next to oven was 57 degrees. All potentially hazardous food discarded.

GASMART USA, 12421 Grandview Road, May 2 – Nozzles on soda fountain have mold inside them. No handsink in restroom for employee use. There is a mop sink in the restroom but this sink should not be used to wash hands. A handsink is for washing hands only and should be equipped with soap and paper towels. Three compartment sink has a sign posted on it that it is broken and cannot be used. Sink has a leak on the bottom but water is still available for use. Sink is full of products that are to be returned to manufacturer. Clean out sinks and have them available for use to clean coffee pots and drink nozzles.
SHIRLEY’S HOMESTYLE RESTAURANT, 12704 S. Missouri 71, May 1 – Reach in cooler is 67 degrees. All potentially hazardous food discarded. Reach in freezer is 37 degrees.

GAMBINO’S PIZZA, 607 N.E. Woods Chapel, May 2 – Containers of ham in reach-in , and pepperoni in walk-in were not marked with a 7-day disposal date. Always mark ready-to-eat potentially hazardous foods with a 7-day disposal date from the time of preparation or original package opening, if products are not used with in 24 hours. Corrected.
PADDY O’QUIGLEY’S, 700 N.E. Woods Chapel Road, May 2 – Combination mop sink/handsink in kitchen and handsinks in all four toilet rooms had hot water at temperatures of 71 degrees to 75 degrees. Provide hot water at least 110 degrees to all handsinks.
PANDA CAFE, 927 N.E. Woods Chapel, May 1 – A bowl of cooled eggs had been placed inside a prep cooler but on top of the product dividers. Temperature was 67 degrees. Since operator did not determine when product had been placed back into refrigeration, its temperature required destruction. Always provide sufficient temperature control to hold cold potentially hazardous foods at 41 degrees or below.
SAINT LUKE’S HOSPITAL, 100 N.E. Saint Luke’s Blvd., May 2 – An open soft drink can was found on a shelf in the prep area. No beveraging unless container has a lid and straw. Corrected. Two zucchini in walk-in had mold. Dispose of foods in less than sound condition. Product destroyed. Dish machine was dispensing less than 50 ppm of chlorine-based sanitizer as evidenced by test paper. Always provide cl-based sanitizer in concentrations of 50-200 ppm. Corrected by exchanging empty sanitizer container with a full one.
SONIC, 3740 Ralph Powell Road, April 30 – Solution in sanitizer bin of three-compartment sink was less than 200 ppm of quatinary based sanitizer. Provide quat-based sanitizing solution at concentrations of 200-400ppm. Corrected.
SPIN! NEAPOLITAN PIZZA, 1808 D. N.W. Chipman, April 29 – Operator has marked foods in walk-in with dates of preparation rather than a 7-day disposal date. Always mark ready-to eat-poterntially hazardous foods with a date 7 days from the date of preparation or opening of original package. Operator stored a spray bottle of cleaner next to a slicer. Do not store toxics next to food contact equipment. All corrected.
THE CARLYLE, 1098 NE Independence Ave., April 29 – Operator did not mark ready-to-eat potentially hazardous foods with a 7-day disposal date. They were marked with the date of preparation. Always mark with a throw-away date 7 days from the preparation or original package opening. Corrected. Two containers of gravy were marked with the putative date of preparation, 04/17/08 which exceeded 7-day disposal. Products destroyed.
THE PEACHTREE RESTAURANT, 1672 N.W. Chipman Road, April 29 – Dishmachine did not provide chlorine-based sanitinzing rinse. Provide cl-sanitizer at concentration of 50-200 ppm. Corrected.
