The Jackson County Board of Election Commissioners conducts all elections and handles all voter registration in Jackson County outside of Kansas City. A voter who relocates to the county must register to vote, and a voter who moves within the county must notify the board.

To vote in the Aug. 5 election, voters must be registered by July 9. To vote in November’s presidential and general election, voters must register by Oct. 8.
