Since Tuesday, David Raasch has delivered about 100 fliers south of 18th Street and sent numerous e-mails about the proposed development and two upcoming meetings related to the development. Through his Internet research, Raasch has educated himself about private jails and how they differ from public jails, he said.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department underwent a leadership change when new sheriff Mike Sharp became the county’s top law enforcement officer on New Year’s Day. One of the many changes is Sgt.
